DAILY CURIOSITY – Many times I ask my acquaintances: ‘Do you believe in God?
In most cases the answer is something like this:
‘You know Kolos I don’t believe in attending a worship’ ‘I don’t believe priests. ‘Religion is politics and I’m fed up with it.’
Usually they do not answer the question. They do not say that they don’t believe. They start to talk about church. They talk about the religion and institution.
In many big American companies they test employees with polygraph.
There is a question among the others: ‘Do you believe in God?”
There are many who answer: ‘No.’
And usually the polygraph shows they do not tell the truth.
I thought a lot about this phenomenon.
Why people identify faith with the religion or the church?
If someone doesn’t believe in religion can this person believe in God?
If they do not believe in God why they use God’s name if they swear?
There is one thing I’m pretty sure. Faith and religion are two different thing.
What about you? Do you believe in God?
